Watch: Nationals hit four straight homers off Padres
The Washington Nationals pulled off a rare feat Sunday against the San Diego Padres, stunning them with four straight home runs to open the eighth inning.
The Nationals started the inning tied in San Diego before everyone who stepped to the plate suddenly went off. Howie Kendrick, Trea Turner, Adam Eaton, and Anthony Rendon went deep in that order, and suddenly the Nationals were up 5-1.

Spare a thought for Padres reliever Craig Stammen, who gave up all four bombs.
It hasn’t been a great year for the Nationals, but this would be their 11th win in the last 15 games. Perhaps things are finally turning around for them.
