Nats teammates MacKenzie Gore, Nick Senzel get into it in dugout
Some Washington Nationals players showed their “Natitude” on Friday night.
Nats teammates MacKenzie Gore and Nick Senzel got into it in the team’s dugout during the bottom of the second inning of their game against the Miami Marlins at Nationals Park.
Gore was apparently upset with Senzel’s effort on an infield single in the top of the second that allowed Miami to score a run to lead 1-0. You can see that Senzel did not give a very hard throw across the diamond for what could have been the third out.

Gore seemed to approach Senzel in the dugout over the play, resulting in Senzel shoving Gore.

The players were then separated by teammates.
Though Gore was heated in that moment, the Nats exploded with seven runs in the bottom of the third to support the pitcher.
The dugout incident between Gore and Senzel will likely remind baseball fans of what happened in D.C. between Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon in 2015.
