Ned Yost: Royals have tricks up their sleeve
Are the Kansas City Royals planning some retaliation against the New York Mets over Noah Syndergaard going head-hunting in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night?
Syndergaard said Thursday before his start that he had some tricks up his sleeve for how he would handle Royals leadoff man Alcides Escobar, who had a lot of success hitting first pitches during the playoffs. The Mets starter decided to buzz the tower on the first pitch of the game, leading to some passionate reactions from the Royals, who were ticked off after the game over Syndergaard’s actions.
On Saturday, Royals manager Ned Yost said his team had some tricks planned, too:
Ned Yost: "We've got a few tricks up our sleeve, too."

He also indicated he didn’t like what the Mets pitcher did:
Ned Yost on Syndergaard: I didn't expect him to throw a strike, but I didn't expect him to throw one under his chin either

Expect to see some fireworks in Game 4 on Saturday.
