Noah Syndergaard posts great Father’s Day tweet
With a majestic pitching complexion that looks like it was chiseled to perfection by the gods themselves, Mets fireballer Noah Syndergaard has rightfully earned his nickname of Thor. Now, he’s embracing it to the fullest.
Sunday marked Father’s Day 2016, and Syndergaard opted to celebrate the occasion by acting true to that moniker and paying tribute on Twitter to Odin, the father of Thor and his brother Loki in the Norse mythological tradition.

It’s not the first time the 23-year-old mound divinity has made a play on his nickname, but it might in fact be the best.
You go, Mr. Syndergaard. Because nothing says Happy Father’s Day quite like 95-mph sliders, resplendent blonde locks, and dropping the hammer of thunder and lightning on unsuspecting hitters, radar guns, and sometimes even his own teammates alike. Odin is pleased indeed, son.
