Odubel Herrera placed on leave following domestic violence arrest
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera was arrested for his involvement in an alleged domestic violence incident earlier this week, and Major League Baseball has placed him on administrative leave.
The Phillies released a statement on Tuesday saying they reported the incident to MLB and Herrera has been placed on paid leave pending an investigation.

Herrera was arrested and charged with simple assault on Monday night at a casino in Atlantic City after a 20-year-old woman who said she is his girlfriend sustained visible injuries. The 27-year-old is in his fifth season with the Phillies.
