Both players remain unsigned even as spring training begins for MLB teams.
Lynn, who turns 31 in May, went 11-8 with a 3.43 ERA last season for the Cardinals. He also reportedly has received interest from the Twins, Yankees, Brewers, Mets and Orioles.
Arrieta, who turns 32 next week, went 14-10 with a 3.53 ERA last season for the Cubs. He was linked to the Nationals in a report on Wednesday.
Yu Darvish is the big free agent pitcher to sign over the offseason. He inked a six-year, $126 million deal with the Cubs.
