Rich Hill rips Donald Trump for criticism of Dodgers
Rich Hill ripped Donald Trump for his criticism of the Los Angeles Dodgers during Game 4 of the World Series.
The Dodgers were leading 4-0 on Saturday when manager Dave Roberts removed Hill from the game with one out and a runner on in the 7th inning. The Dodgers’ bullpen promptly collapsed, allowing runs in the 7th, 8th and 9th to the Boston Red Sox, who won the game 9-6.
Trump was critical of Roberts for removing Hill from the game and called the Dodgers’ relievers “nervous.”
Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!

On Sunday, Hill ripped Trump for criticizing Roberts and the Dodgers, saying the president should instead be focusing on the country especially on a day when a mass shooting took place in Pittsburgh.
Rich Hill on Trump’s tweet: “There was a mass shooting yesterday … The focus, in my opinion, of the president is to be on the country, and not on moves that are made in a World Series game.”

Though many have agreed with the criticism of the Dodgers, here is a detailed explanation of why Roberts should not be blamed.
