Roy Halladay pulled over for speeding twice in one day
Roy Halladay had himself a rough day on Tuesday.
The former Toronto Blue Jays ace was cruising around and enjoying his retirement when his foot got a bit heavy, and he was pulled over for driving 58 mph in a 45-mph zone. Halladay claimed it was the first time he had been issued a ticket.

They say there’s a first time for everything. A lot of the time there’s a second, too, but it usually doesn’t take place just a few hours later. Halladay apparently didn’t learn his lesson.
Got me again!! I ask if he was stalking famous people. He said no none live around here except the washed up pitcher! pic.twitter.com/CnSG9A9WfP

With the exception of the occasional well-timed zinger on Twitter, Halladay has kept a pretty low profile since he last pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies two years ago. Hopefully he still has some pull and was able to wiggle out of at least one of those tickets.
