Roy Halladay zings A-Rod over Twitter

Roy Halladay brings the heat even in retirement.

The former two-time Cy Young winner sent a funny tweet Monday morning that included a zinger against A-Rod:

I recorded my first strike out since retirement! Time for a comeback? She has a better swing then Arod! No steroids pic.twitter.com/98ytAyTUy0

Was Halladay about to back down or apologize after the tweet went viral? Heck no, he even wrote a follow-up tweet:

Than… Sorry grammar was never my strength! Haha.. So a handful of Arod fans said he hit 308 off me. Curious what my record is vs his team

Eight All-Star Game selections and two Cy Young Awards say Halladay has the right to zing whomever he wants whenever he wants. We also appreciate the fierce Twitter attitude he has adopted since retiring — he was great when he zinged Cincinnati Reds fans last year, too.
