Snoop Dogg made an unexpected appearance in the Milwaukee Brewers’ broadcast booth on Saturday, and he had a great reaction to an outstanding play from Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz.

Snoop was very confident that Brice Turang had an infield hit when he hit what appeared to be a perfectly-placed ground ball to De La Cruz’s right in the bottom of the second inning. Despite that, De La Cruz managed to field the ball and use his rocket of an arm to throw Turang out.

“Oh, he’s safe. He can’t throw that. He ain’t got no arm like that. No he don’t!” the rapper said in shock. “Who is that with that rocket? Oh Lord, he’s got a rocket in his pocket.”

Much of the baseball world was already familiar with De La Cruz’s ridiculous throwing arm, but Snoop is being introduced for the first time. Safe to say he is impressed.

Snoop Dogg has been more closely involved with college football than anything else recently, at least in terms of sports. De La Cruz might just get him into baseball a little bit more.
