Squirrel interrupts Twins game for second day in a row

A squirrel got loose at Target Field for the second day in a row during the Minnesota Twins’ series against the Chicago White Sox.

On Monday, a squirrel was seen running by the Twins’ dugout during the first inning of the team’s 6-4 loss.

On Tuesday, a squirrel interrupted the game again. It ran across the field in the middle of an at-bat in the fifth inning. This time the squirrel went into the White Sox’s dugout.

You may think that a squirrel on the field during a game is odd, but it actually happened to the Twins two years ago too on the road. Nothing generates buzz at a game quite like an animal running around on the field.
