Watch: Steve Pearce crushes 456-foot home run in Game 3
Steve Pearce crushed a ball so far in Game 3 that even Tony Kemp couldn’t catch it.
Pearce was up with one out in the top of the sixth inning of Game 3 of the ALCS in Houston on Tuesday and crushed a home run to deep left field off Astros reliever Joe Smith.

Pearce’s home run put the Red Sox up 3-2 on Houston.
Pearce nearly drove in some more runs in the third inning when he drove a ball to left with two on and two outs. Tony Kemp made a leaping catch at the wall on a ball some thought hit off the scoreboard before going into Kemp’s glove.
This time the ball went way beyond the reach of any Astros players on the field.
