Cleveland Indians righty Josh Tomlin definitely did his skipper proud Friday.
After the Indians rallied to defeat the New York Yankees in extra innings in Game 2 of the ALDS, manager Terry Francona had a legendary quote about Tomlin, who pitched two perfect frames in relief to earn the victory. Here is what Francona had to say, according to Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press:

The Tribe got the 9-8 win in dramatic fashion and now lead the series 2-0. They will head to New York on Sunday for a potential close-out Game 3, but as for now, Francona knows who he is giving the game ball to (no pun intended).
