Texas Rangers send hilarious tweet to Dodgers after World Series
If there’s any team that can relate to the Los Angeles Dodgers, it’s the Texas Rangers. And they sent the Dodgers a hilarious tweet on Sunday night after the Dodgers lost Game 5 of the World Series 5-1 to the Boston Red Sox, marking their second straight defeat in the World Series.
Here’s what the Rangers said:
Hey @Dodgers, the support group for back-to-back #WorldSeries losers meets on Tuesdays.
— Texas Rangers (@Rangers) October 29, 2018
The Rangers lost consecutive World Series in 2010 and 2011, falling to the Giants and then the Cardinals. Losing in 2011 stings even more for Texas considering they were an out away from winning the championship before losing Game 6 in extras and then Game 7.
At least Dodgers fans did not have to endure the same heartbreak in 2018, though losing in Game 7 in 2017 wasn’t too fun.
