Theo Epstein is nothing short of a miracle worker.
The Cubs executive did it first by bringing Boston its first World Series title since 1918, and now he has sent the Cubs to their first World Series since 1945.
As Chicago got a ground ball with a runner on first and one out in the top of the 9th inning of Game 6 of the NLCS Saturday at Wrigley Field, Epstein rose from his chair and began to celebrate as he anticipated a double play being turned. The look of sheer joy was all over his face and in his body actions as he hugged wife Marie Whitney:

Nobody deserves this celebration more than Epstein. He took over the Cubs after the 2011 season. They struggled in his first three years, but they made a huge turnaround after that and have become a powerhouse.
The Cubs are looking to win their first World Series since 1908.
