Report: Tigers’ Nick Castellanos drawing trade interest
The Detroit Tigers haven’t been all that active this offseason, but that could change in the days to come.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, Tigers outfielder Nick Castellanos is attracting trade interest, including from the Atlanta Braves. The outfielder is viewed as an alternative to free agent outfielders.

Castellanos is coming off his best offensive season, in which he hit .298 with 23 home runs. He turns 27 in March and is not considered a great defender or baserunner, and is entering the final season of arbitration, factors that could limit his value.
