Video: Tim Tebow is still having big trouble in the outfield
Tim Tebow remains rather unconvincing in his bid to play in Major League Baseball.
The latest example of this came on Friday. Tebow had a routine fly ball in his sights that would have ended the Mets’ spring training game against the St. Louis Cardinals, but appeared to trip over his own shoelaces and fell over in pursuit.

The good news? The Mets ended up closing out the win in spite of Tebow’s tumble. He went 0-for-2 in the game with two strikeouts, dropping his spring average to .125.
It’s safe to say based on what we’ve seen this spring that Tebow needs a lot more work in the outfield. That’s not exactly a great sign when he’s entering his fourth year of professional baseball.
