Former Biogenesis head Tony Bosch has been jailed after failing two drug tests in August because of cocaine.
Bosch, who agreed to a plea deal with authorities for his Biogenesis-related crimes, had his bail revoked, the Associated Press reports. He is scheduled to plead guilty next week on charges of conspiracy to distribute testosterone.
Bosch is receiving a lighter sentence after cooperating with MLB in their investigations, which helped the league suspend multiple players for their use of performance-enhancing drugs.
Despite billing himself as a doctor, Bosch is not one and used his Biogenesis clinic to distribute HGH and other performance-enhancers to multiple ballplayers, including Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun and Nelson Cruz, among others.
