Much like playes, umpires have gotten better over the years. But umpires are still improving and even they have their bad moments. One video that was shared on Tuesday shows some of the worst umpiring moments from the season.

An X account called Umpire Auditor noted in a post on Tuesday that there were 27,336 missed calls during the regular season, including 1,637 strikeouts. The video they shared was a compilation of the 10 worst strikeout calls of the season.

One common theme is that many of the missed calls were on the outside part of the plate. Take a look:

Unfortunately for them, Larry Vanover and Hunter Wendelstedt both appear twice on the list. Unsurprisingly, Angel Hernandez took the top spot.

Hernandez ended up retiring in May, which many felt was a move long overdue.
