Vladimir Guerrero Jr is capable of doing things to a baseball that might be illegal in some states, and it is no surprise he looks ready to dominate the Home Run Derby.
MLB reporter Alexis Brudnicki shared a video of Guerrero practicing for the Derby this week, and let’s just say anything less than 450 home runs in the event might be a disappointment for the Toronto Blue Jays star.

Guerrero, who is only 20, has absurd power. Some of those balls he hit probably still haven’t landed, which isn’t a surprise given some of the homers we’ve seen him blast during games. Between him and New York Mets rookie Pete Alonso, this year’s Home Run Derby has the potential to be one of the most exciting in years.
