Vladimir Guerrero Jr. could end up in the big leagues someday just like his old man. The younger Vlad, who is just 15 years old, took batting practice recently in front of scouts from the Blue Jays, Yankees and Angels. Considering how young he is, I’m sure the baseball brains liked what they saw.
Guerrero Jr. hit a few absolute bombs. You could tell by the reaction — or lack thereof — from the people shagging balls that he hit the ball well over the fence. Guerrero Jr. even goes with the no-batting gloves approach like his old man. No word yet on if he can hit a pitch that’s three feet out of the strike zone.
