Watch: Max Muncy drops bat after monster home run against Phillies
Max Muncy crushed a home run for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday night and pimped it with a big-time bat drop.
Muncy was batting with his Dodgers down 1-0 in the top of the second. He pounded a Vince Velasquez offering to the second deck in right field and admired his work:

That’s the type of homer Muncy would have told Madison Bumgarner to fish out of the ocean. Velasquez just asked for a new ball.
The Phillies made up for it in the bottom half of the inning. Scott Kingery smacked a two-run home run and Bryce Harper delivered a 3-run shot to put the Phils up 6-1. That was Muncy’s 25th home run of the season.
