New York Yankees fans were already looking ahead to the ALDS against the Boston Red Sox during their elimination game against the Oakland A’s on Wednesday.
As the Yankees broke open their game with the A’s thanks to a four-run sixth inning, chants throughout Yankee Stadium saying “We Want Boston!” began. Take a look:

Why wouldn’t the Yankees want Boston? They took 2 of 3 against the Red Sox to end the regular season and got off to a great start in the Wild Card Game against Oakland. Luis Severino pitched well, while Luke Voit and Aaron Judge delivered big hits.
The winner of the AL Wild Card Game travels to Boston for the best-of-5 ALDS beginning on Friday.
