Yasiel Puig meets with fan whose tooth he accidentally knocked out
A good gesture turned bad on Monday night when Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig knocked a fan’s tooth out with a ball he tossed into the stands. But to his credit, Puig has done his best to make it up to the young lady.
Alyssa Gerharter made the brave decision to return to Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night to cheer on the visiting Dodgers. The choice was a wise one, because she ended up getting to meet Puig.

As you can see, Gerharter was sporting a pretty nasty cut on her lip. She told the New York Daily News earlier this week that a dentist reinserted the tooth and the hope is that it will fuse with the bone and she won’t need a replacement.
Goof for Puig. Between going out of his way to meet with Gerharter and cheering on his teammates in an actual cheerleading outfit recently (video here), the man has been in quite the giving mood.
