Yoenis Cespedes reportedly nearing rehab assignment
The New York Mets are hoping to get ailing outfielder Yoenis Cespedes back in the lineup fairly soon.
According to Mike Puma of the New York Post, the Mets hope to send Cespedes, who hasn’t played since May 13, on a rehab assignment by the end of the week.
Forgot to mention Cespedes will be a few days behind Frazier in beginning a rehab assignment. Sounds like maybe the end of the week.

Cespedes has been sidelined by a strained right hip flexor, the latest in a series of concerning injuries to the star outfielder. He was hitting only .255 before going down with the injury, though he did have eight home runs in the early stages of the season.
