Report: Yu Darvish has five-year offer on table
The Yu Darvish market appears to be heating up.
According to ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick, Darvish has a five-year offer on the table, though he doesn’t name the team making the offer. It is unclear why Darvish hasn’t signed yet and which combination of years and money is the big issue.
Yu Darvish has at least one five-year offer on the table, according to a source, but nothing yet has enticed him to take the plunge. It's uncertain if the years or the $$ are the hangup — or both. #Cubs, #Twins, #Rangers, #Dodgers, #Brewers are all believed to be in the mix.

As Crasnick notes, Darvish has numerous suitors. We know that the Brewers have an offer on the table, though it’s not confirmed whether they are offering the five-year deal Crasnick is reporting here. Regardless, Darvish has options. Perhaps he’s waiting to see if he can entice an interested party to blow their rivals out of the water with a big offer.
