Zack Greinke says he learned his awesome bat-flipping skills from Brewers
Zack Greinke showed off his bat-flipping ability after homering during Thursday’s game, and he says it’s a skill he learned from one of his previous organizations.
Greinke, who got roughed up for six runs over six innings against the Phillies, helped himself at the plate by going 3-for-3 with a solo home run in the third. He delivered an epic bat flip on the dinger.
So where did he learn how to bat flip like that?
Zack Greinke said he started flipping his bat after hits with the Brewers. "They encouraged bat flips," he said.

Funny, here I was thinking Yasiel Puig taught him. Greinke is now batting .220 on the season with a .531 OPS. Yes, his batting average is higher than teammate Jimmy Rollins’.
