Allen Iverson late to own Hall of Fame presser, reportedly missed flight
The 2016 National Basketball Hall of Fame Class was scheduled to hold a press conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, but one of the inductees was not in attendance after he failed to make it to Springfield on time.
We’ll give you one guess who it was.
Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com reported that Allen Iverson was an “unscheduled no-show” after he had some travel issues. A Philadelphia 76ers fan blog later added that Iverson had missed his flight and needed to take a later one.

How perfect is that? Fortunately, Iverson showed up just over an hour later and fielded questions.
Iverson, one of the most exciting players in NBA history, was often criticized throughout his career for not taking the game seriously enough. His infamous “we talkin’ about practice” rant is one of the most viral sports moments to date, and we recently learned some interesting new information about it.
