Angel Reese already won an NCAA title two years ago, and now she is supporting her brother in his quest to win one of his own.
The WNBA star Reese was spotted in attendance at Thursday’s big Sweet 16 showdown between No. 4 seed Maryland and No. 1 seed Florida. Reese’s younger brother, Julian Reese, is a senior forward for Maryland.
While sitting in the stands, Angel was featured by the official NCAA March Madness account on X.

Julian, who averaged 13.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for Maryland this season, came to play in the early going against Florida. He finished the half with eight points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal (including some nifty moves in the post).
While Florida, with their record of 32-4, has widely been seen as the top team in the NCAA this season, Maryland stood tall against them and only trailed 40-38 at the half.
As for Angel, she won it all in college at LSU in 2023 and has since gone on to become an All-Star and league rebounding leader for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. Angel was also a member of the Rose BC team that won the inaugural Unrivaled 3-on-3 league championship earlier this month (with Angel being named the Unrivaled Defensive Player of the Year).
Julian, meanwhile, had made headlines last season for a confrontation during a postgame handshake. But now he is making headlines for his strong play against Florida as well as for his familial connection to a WNBA star.
