Anthony Davis denies having list of preferred trade destinations
Much has been made of Anthony Davis’s supposed list of preferred trade destinations, but Davis himself says there is no list.
Davis told NBATV on Saturday that the only thing that mattered to him in a trade was going somewhere he could win.
“All 29 teams are on my list,” Davis said. “I don’t have a preferred destination. I just want to win.”

Earlier, Davis had specifically stated that he had never ruled out the Boston Celtics despite rumors to the contrary.

The reality is that Davis can’t actually block a trade anywhere. He can, however, decide where he’d be willing to sign long-term, but that won’t scare off teams who think they could convince him to stay after he plays there for a year. Davis clearly has some preferences, but the infamous “trade list” may be overstated.
