New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis left Saturday’s game against the Chicago Bulls after suffering a shoulder injury on a nasty fall.
Davis threw down an alley-oop but was undercut on his way down and landed hard on his right shoulder. He initially tried to play through the injury, but he later left the game to undergo tests.
Davis was initially termed questionable to return, though that changed as the team later said he would miss the rest of the game. FOX Sports reporter Jen Hale says Davis has a right shoulder contusion. Luckily X-rays were negative, meaning he did not break anything.
