Aron Baynes is taking some time to respond to the, err, warm Boston welcome he received from Tommy Heinsohn on Monday night.
On Tuesday, the new Celtics big man had this funny reaction to Heinsohn’s off-kilter comments about him during the broadcast of the team’s preseason opener against the Charlotte Hornets, per Chris Forsberg of ESPN.
Aron Baynes on Tommy Heinsohn's comments: "It's always nice to get a compliment from a Celtics legend … The Missus got a few texts."

Heinsohn, the legendary Celtic and their longtime color commentator, was certainly colorful in the second quarter when he made a remark about looking at Baynes in the shower and, well, you can listen to the rest for yourself:
Boston get a hold of your announcers.

The 83-year-old Heinsohn has been known to make some wacky comments in the booth over the years, but at least Baynes was a good sport about it.
