Ben Simmons reportedly has grown two inches, nearing 7 feet
The Philadelphia 76ers are getting more than what they knew they were in for when they drafted Ben Simmons — literally.
There has been chatter this week that Simmons has grown two inches. It started when World B. Free talked about it on a recent Sixers broadcast.
“It seems like Ben Simmons grew about another two inches since he’s been here. I told him that the other day, I said, ‘Ben, you look like you’ve grown another two inches since you’ve been here.'”
WIP’s Jon Johnson later confirmed when speaking with Simmons that the former No. 1 draft pick had grown two inches.

That puts Simmons at just under 7 feet tall. Given that he’s still growing as of this year, who knows if he might reach 7 feet?
The point guard has missed the entire season after experiencing a setback in his recovery from surgery to repair a broken foot suffered during training camp.
