Report: ‘Growing sense’ there could be big trades early in draft
This year’s NBA Draft class is loaded with desirable top talent, which could lead to some big trade action.
In fact, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Mannix said on Monday that there is a “growing sense” there could be some significant trades early in the draft.
While trade chatter this time of year isn't unusual, there is a growing sense among many team execs that there could be some significant deals early in the draft.

That certainly would add to the excitement ahead of the draft.
The Phoenix Suns have the top pick and expressed a willingness to trade it, although that seems less likely now. The Sacramento Kings at No. 2 apparently rebuffed one offer. The Hawks, Grizzlies, Mavericks, Magic, Bulls, Cavs, Knicks and 76ers round out the top 10.
The Hawks, who also pick at Nos. 19, 30 and 33, and the Clippers, who have the Nos. 12 and 13 picks, both seem armed to make potential trade offers. There are several players who are ready to make an impact in the league now, all of whom could be potential targets.
