Bob Myers: Doctors do not know how long Steve Kerr will need to recover
The Golden State Warriors aren’t being vague on a possible Steve Kerr return for no reason. They’re doing it, in part, because Kerr’s own doctors don’t know, either.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers gave an update on Kerr’s condition Sunday morning, confirming that the coach underwent a procedure at Duke University — and noting that even Kerr’s doctors can’t estimate a possible recovery time.
Bob Myers on Kerr: "Even the doctors aren't entirely sure of recovery time. That's why we've been a little indefinite about everything."

Owner Joe Lacob shared some details about Kerr’s procedure. The whole thing sounds extremely painful and rather scary. While it seems unlikely that we’ll see Kerr back anytime soon, we can only hope that he’s able to make a full and speedy recovery.
