Bronny James’ Sierra Canyon team will be on ESPN 15 times this season
ESPN already provides copious amounts of LeBron James coverage, and now they will be giving us plenty of coverage for James’ son, Bronny.
Sierra Canyon School, which has one of the best high school basketball programs in the country, will be on ESPN networks 15 times this season. They will have games on ESPN2 twice and 13 games on ESPN3.

Sierra Canyon has four players ranked in the top 10 in their respective recruiting classes and five top-100 players. That group does not include the most famous players on their team of all — Bronny James and Zaire Wade (son of Dwyane) — whose fathers teamed up on the Miami Heat.
Some may groan over this and wonder why a high school team gets so much coverage or why special attention is given to Wade and James’ sons. The answer is: they’re famous (due to their fathers), and there is great public interest in them. People like watching talented athletes, and Sierra Canyon has several of them. They play high-quality basketball. And people will want to see Bronny and Zaire.
The amount of games broadcast and available on ESPN3 is a gift to sports fans. I will never knock them for providing more coverage of games fans want to see.
