Bryan Colangelo claims ‘someone’s out to get me’ in burner account controversy
Philadelphia 76ers executive Bryan Colangelo is doubling down on his denials that the activity of five Twitter accounts has anything to do with him.
A story from the Ringer alleged that Colangelo had used five burner accounts to anonymously criticize some members of the team, but Colangelo flatly denied the allegations. He was even firmer on Wednesday, claiming that someone was “out to get” him and that the accounts were “clearly” not his.
Bryan Colangelo tells me via text: "Someone's out to get me. … This is clearly not me." Colangelo adds that he's "hopeful to resolve this soon."

Whether or not you believe it is a matter of opinion, as many fans are already seeking out further evidence to back the assertion. The team is investigating, and members of the team are giving him the benefit of the doubt for now, but Colangelo appears to have already lost in the court of public opinion despite his denials.
Now what if this guy is, in fact, out to get his successor?
