Even during the WNBA offseason, Caitlin Clark can grab attention.
On Sunday, the Indiana Fever superstar guard turned heads when she made her broadcasting debut for NBC during the high-profile matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y.
Along with NBA legends Reggie Miller and Carmelo Anthony and sportscaster Maria Taylor, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star managed to hold her own with the mic during the pregame show.
But where Clark clearly fell short (quite literally) was in the height department. Flanked by Miller and Anthony, who both stand 6 feet 7, the 6-foot Clark looked puny.
The former WNBA Rookie of the Year seemed to acknowledge the size disparity in the broadcast, as she shared a hilarious quip on social media.
“I’m going to wear stilts next time,” the 24-year-old Clark posted on X.
With that lesson in mind, it will be interesting to see whether Clark shows up to her next NBC broadcasting assignment with that footwear adjustment.
She will be back to help cover a game for the network on March 29, when the Knicks lock horns with the reigning NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
