Caitlin Clark has intense staredown with ex-Fever player
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has had a rocky start to her WNBA career. But that doesn’t mean she’s backing down from the competition.
During Thursday’s game against the Seattle Storm, Clark got into a heated staredown with Storm guard Victoria Vivians at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
At the 5:53 mark of the second quarter, Clark splashed her second three-pointer of the contest over Vivians from 32 feet out. The shot trimmed the Storm’s lead to 34-28.

The two started jawing at one another after the made basket. Clark’s Fever teammate Aliyah Boston held Clark back before the incident could escalate.

Clark and Vivians were each called for technical fouls.
Clark closed the half with 14 points on 6/11 shooting to go along with 2 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Fever originally drafted Vivians in the first round of the 2018 WNBA Draft. She played five seasons for Indiana before signing a deal with the Storm in the offseason. In her last two seasons with the Fever, Vivians started in 44 of her 73 games played.
