When the Indiana Fever took Caitlin Clark first overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, she was viewed as the answer to their problems. To a Jeopardy! contestant, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star was quite literally the answer that unlocked a fortune.
In a recent Jeopardy! episode, the final question had Clark as the answer, but only one of the three contestants got it right.
The question that host Ken Jennings popped was from the category “21st Century Women,” and the clue was “The Iowa legislature passed a resolution declaring Feb. 22, 2004, her day across the state.”
Luke Henson, who is a grocer from East Moline, Ill., wagered $8,398 of his $8,400 on his answer: “Who is Caitlin Clark?”
we know the answer 😉

Like the Fever star with her shots from deep, Henson was on the money with his response, which gave him a total of $16,798.
That wasn’t all that Luke got by making the right answer, as the 24-year-old Clark gave him a shoutout afterward.
“Luke is him,” Clark commented on the video of Henson’s winning moment.
Clark’s message got plenty of attention as well, but the real star here is clearly Henson, who ended the reign of previous champion James Denison.
