Cam Thomas has signed with a new team just days after being cut by the Brooklyn Nets.

Thomas has agreed to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, calling it a nice opportunity.

“I picked Milwaukee because they wanted me and they told me they’ve been interested for years now. So, it’s good to have this opportunity come to fruition. And I’m just hoping to meet everybody, get to know everybody and contribute as soon as possible,” Thomas told ESPN’s Marc J. Spears.

Thomas was waived by the Nets after the trade deadline. He became a free agent after clearing waivers, and chose to sign with Milwaukee.

Just after being let go by the Nets, he took a shot at the team. He made it clear he was unhappy over his playing time and role in Brooklyn.

Thomas was the No. 27 overall pick by the Nets in 2021. The former first-round pick has averaged 15.6 points and 3.1 assists per game in 24 contests this season.
