Celtics fans chanted ‘F— the Process’ during blowout of Sixers
The Boston faithful definitely enjoyed their blowout win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
The Celtics took home Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against the favored Sixers by a convincing final score of 117-101. Towards the end of the game, Tom Westerholm of MassLive reported that the C’s fans were chanting Philly’s famous mantra of “Trust the Process” but with a certain four-letter expletive in place of the word “Trust.”
Celtics fans are now chanting “Trust the Process” except they are substituting a word for “Trust” and you can probably guess what it is.

The win was definitely a flex for the Celtics, who were without Jaylen Brown for the contest on top of the season-ending injuries to Gordon Hayward, Kyrie Irving, and Daniel Theis. What’s more is that the Sixers had won 20 of their last 21 games prior (dating back to the regular season) and are the new betting favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. As such, you can see why the Boston fans, who also had another classic taunt against the Milwaukee Bucks in the previous round, may have been feeling particularly giddy about the W.
