Chandler Parsons agreed to a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies in free agency. Perhaps a chat with Justin Timberlake helped sell him on the franchise.
According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Parsons spoke with Timberlake via FaceTime during the Grizzlies’ pitch to him:

Timberlake became a limited partner of the Grizzlies in Sept. 2012. Timberlake’s involvement in free agency should come as no surprise as previous reports said he also would be a part of the franchise’s presentation to retain point guard Mike Conley.
Also note that Timberlake’s pitch to Parsons and love of the Grizzlies is not for show. Remember how he put a Twitter troll in check two years ago about his support for the Grizzlies?
