Chris Broussard fires back at Mark Cuban: ‘I stand by my sources’
Chris Broussard is taking the word of his sources over that of Mark Cuban in a report about Mark Cuban.
On Wednesday night, Broussard reported that Cuban was driving around the Houston area texting DeAndre Jordan’s family in a desperate attempt to figure out where Jordan lives. Cuban responded on Thursday morning by unloading on Broussard, calling the report the “dumbest sh– I’ve ever heard” and insisting he has Jordan’s address.
Broussard didn’t take kindly to having his sources questioned, and he is standing by them. Rather than letting it go, the ESPN reporter countered that Cuban would have gone to Jordan’s house if he knew the address.
@mcuban if you had the address last night, you would've gone to the house. I stand by my multiple sources who had u calling & texting them

@mcuban you didn't fly to Houston to text all night, did you?

Cuban is sticking to his guns, too.
@Chris_Broussard post what you have. I have the facts you got lied to

As we mentioned before, it’s incredibly hard to believe that a man in Cuban’s position would have that much trouble tracking down Jordan’s address. I doubt Cuban was going to just show up at Jordan’s home while Jordan was meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers (and supposedly being held hostage), so it was probably more a case of Cuban not being able to get in touch with Jordan or anyone in his camp. In fact, Cuban alluded to that when he briefly addressed the Jordan situation on Thursday.
