Mark Cuban unloads on Chris Broussard for his DeAndre Jordan reporting
Mark Cuban says he has not spoken to DeAndre Jordan in two days, but that doesn’t mean he was driving around like a crazed ex-girlfriend trying to meet with the then-free agent center on Wednesday night.
Shortly after word surfaced that the Los Angeles Clippers were holding Jordan hostage at his home until he re-signed with them, ESPN’s Chris Broussard reported that Cuban was “beside himself” and was “begging” people for Jordan’s address.
CORRECTION: Sources: Cuban beside himself. Driving around downtown HOUSTON begging (thru texts) Jordan's family 4 address to DeAndre's home

Needless to say, Cuban insists that is not how it went down.
.@Chris_Broussard that's is the dumbest shit Ive ever heard. If you had any ethics u would msg me and I will give u his address

And Mark wasn’t the only member of the Cuban family to unload on Broussard. Cuban’s brother, Brian, also gave the ESPN reporter a piece of his mind.
How could you possibly know that. STFU https://t.co/7n2qnHL69L

.@nuggetfan4life I don’t feel bad about it, he is hiding in the trunk? Broussard is a knucklehead.

If you have siblings you care about -you understand that was all bout family and nothing about basketball

Broussard has a reputation for throwing mud at the wall and hoping it sticks, and this sounds like another example of that. There’s no question Cuban must be furious about the way things have unfolded with Jordan, though he only had this to say about the situation on Thursday. But does Mark Cuban, billionaire NBA owner, really need to drive around Houston like a madman desperately trying to figure out where a player lives? Come on.
UPDATE: Broussard isn’t backing down from Cuban. He fired back on Twitter and stood by his sources.
