COVID-19 proved to be no match for Christian Wood.
The Detroit Pistons center posted a great and triumphant tweet on Thursday about how he simply “beat that rona.”

The 24-year-old Wood was having a career year for the Pistons before the pandemic with averages of 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He became one of the earliest-known NBA players to test positive for the virus but was also the first reported to have recovered from it.
Wood was not pleased about at least one part of the ordeal, but now that he has emerged on the other side, he can afford to flex a little.
