CJ Miles goes off on fans treatment of athletes during games
NBA veteran C.J. Miles went off on social media about fans’ treatment of professional athletes following a Washington Wizards game.
On Saturday, Miles’ teammate Isaiah Thomas was ejected from the team’s loss to the Sixers in Philadelphia after an altercation with a fan. Following the game, Thomas spoke with the media and shared what led to the altercation.
Later in the evening, Miles sent a series of tweets on the subject. He shared why fans should not be crossing a line when talking to players.
Y’all gotta chill man.. y’all out here disrespecting grown men and then calling them fragile for not just taking it..a lot of the things said would never be said you if ran into any guys on the street.. I get trash talk and booing all that is what is it is .. but there is a line

And y’all know there’s a line… This idea that the amount of money made makes any difference is the problem.. that it shouldn’t be felt or cared about .. you know how insane that sounds ?! That disconnect is wild..

People think about the lifestyle and money made and think “if I had that I wouldn’t care about anything ..my problems would be solved” that’s not the way REAL LIFE work .. yes money can solve a lot of problems but it isn’t the be all end all..

I honestly wouldn’t want to see how some of y’all would act with more money anyway ..

Getting called spoiled and fragile for wanting respect is wild .. We weren’t handed this .. you don’t get drafted because somebody sees your height walking down the street .. this was built since a lot us were young kids.. years ..months.. hours

Thomas responded to Miles, saying that disrespect will no longer be tolerated.
You know what it is killa! No way shape or form will disrespect be tolerated!

There is a chance Thomas will be suspended for his actions on Saturday. If that’s the case, Thomas will probably feel his actions were still justified.
