The Los Angeles Clippers look like one of Kawhi Leonard’s preferred destinations, and the interest is mutual.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Clippers will be “aggressive” in their pursuit of Leonard if the San Antonio Spurs make the forward available via trade.
The Clippers indeed intend to be aggressive trade bidders for Kawhi Leonard, league sources say, if/when San Antonio actually makes him available. That obviously hasn’t happened — yet

The Clippers look primed for a rebuild, but acquiring a franchise cornerstone of Leonard’s caliber could certainly change their trajectory quickly. He’d especially be of interest given some other stars reportedly aren’t keen on the franchise. Of course, putting a trade package together would be a challenge, but it appears to be one that the team would be happy to take on.
