Collin Murray-Boyles is already establishing himself as one of the biggest characters in this year’s rookie class.
The former South Carolina star Murray-Boyles went in the first round of this year’s NBA Draft to the Toronto Raptors. Murray-Boyles was selected in the lottery by the Raptors with the No. 9 overall pick.
U.S. Olympic gymnast Suni Lee was in attendance at the draft, serving as a guest interviewer on the red carpet for Esquire. She interviewed Murray-Boyles and asked him to choose his All-Star celebrity 3-on-3 basketball dream team. Murray-Boyles picked Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz and also turned to Lee and said, “You.”
Lee was taken aback by Murray-Boyles’ response and replied with an incredulous, “What?!” Here is the video.

That seemed like a pretty flirty move from Murray-Boyles, especially considering that Lee does not quite have a basketball player build at 5-foot-0. But the whole interaction becomes a bit strange when you consider that Murray-Boyles is dating an actual basketball player in Chloe Kitts, the 6-foot-2 forward who is currently a junior at South Carolina. Kitts was even in attendance at the NBA Draft on Wednesday to support her boyfriend Murray-Boyles and quickly became a viral star.
All things considered, the new Raptors forward Murray-Boyles may be getting a stern talking-to from his girlfriend over that moment with Lee. Someone else who probably isn’t pleased either is the former Raptors player who has been linked to Lee by the Internet.
