Suni Lee is well aware of some of the viral memes out there.
The gymnastics star Lee appeared Friday on a panel at the annual Fanatics Fest in New York City, N.Y. Lee is a well-known fan of the New York Knicks and was asked during the panel about her fandom.
“I really got sucked into the Knicks fandom this year,” replied Lee.
That prompted a fan in the crowd to yell out “OG!” in reference to Knicks forward OG Anunoby. Lee had a good laugh at the comment and promptly replied, “Out of pocket.” You can watch the funny video here.
Lee, a two-time Olympic gold medalist who won three medals overall while competing for the United States at the Paris Games last summer, attended several Knicks games this season. She even posed for a photo with Anunoby during one game last December.

On top of that, Lee was in attendance during a Knicks home game on Apr. 6 vs. the Phoenix Suns where Anunoby went on to score 32 points. That was what really sparked the online memes linking Lee and Anunoby together.

Lee is a big basketball fan overall and also posed for pictures during the Paris Olympics with both Devin Booker and with Kevin Durant. But based on that reaction from her at Fanatics Fest this weekend, Anunoby just might be her favorite NBA player of all.
